About the Author

Dr. Jacob Stratman received his B.A. in English and Secondary Education from William Jewell College, Liberty, Missouri, and his M.A. in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from Missouri State University. He completed his Ph.D. in English—American Literature from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dr. Stratman is currently an Assistant Professor of English at John Brown University, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He teaches English I and II, American Literature to 1900, World Masterpieces and the Young Adult Literature course.
